This weekend the JPHiP press team will be bringing you full coverage of Japan Expo USA, including event reports, photos, and more! Last year JPHiP got the chance to interview Kikkawa You before her trip to Europe for last year’s Japan Expo conventions in Orleans and Brussels. This time we will do our best to bring you JPHiP-exclusive interviews with as many of the guests as possible!
Japan Expo is known as the largest Japanese popular culture event of its kind in Europe, and one of the largest in the world with 219,614 certified attendees in 2012. Since the creation of this event in 1999, the Japan Expo brand has expanded to include a number of events across Europe and is now expanding to include North America as well. “Japan Expo, 1st Impact” is their first event in the United States and takes place in Santa Clara, California from August 23rd-25th, 2013.

Manga artist, illustrator character designer, known for his work on the video games Osu! Tatakae! Oendan and No More Heroes
